A New Fave....

I know I've already posted about some jumpsuit love... But I found a GORGEOUS one a few months ago that I would wear out all the time if it was socially-acceptable!! As my previous blogs have also had me mentioning about my love of backless tops/dresses etc, this is in fact a backless jumpsuit. Win win for me!
It's also has a stunning flare at the bottom in the trousers.. And it is that light material that just makes it flow beautifully
I did need it altering at the bottom to get it taken up a little bit (for my midget legs) so it sits perfectly at the bottom with my heels on.
This called for a standard mirror-selfie of an exposed back...

Back to Basics

I have completely abandoned my Blogger for a while and I'm sorry sorry sorry! I have been so distracted with things going on!!
But I PROMISE I'm back.
So I mentioned in my last blog I will be covering makeup and other beauty products to share, which I will start with now. Because I have been using so many great products while I haven't been blogging!
Unfortunately, I'm not good with hair. I wish I could have someone do my hair for me everyday and there to also be a magical way to make it grow. BUT I am improving with my makeup. I love makeup!!
I love mixing up foundations, nearly every month I like buying a new one to try. I currently have MAC, Nars, Armani - and I did go for a L'oreal foundation last month just to compare to the more expensive products. And I found it is just a nice! If I'm going on a night out, every girl tends to layer it on more, and I am definitely one of those girls! So I do like layering the L'oreal foundation with MAC- they go on so well together. Here is a picture of me (posing obviously) wearing these products. Amazing coverage!!

MAKE A STATEMENT

So now I'm kick starting my blog, I will be posting more blogs, a lot more often!! And I have decided to not only post about clothes.. But also accessories and beauty! I try new beauty tips and new fashion pieces all the time, so I'm going to share it all with you readers!

I wanted to blog today about a gorgeous new statement necklace I bought. On a night out I was wearing a plain black long sleeve dress (although what I LOVE about it, is it's backless!!) but I needed a finishing touch.
Here I wore this silver chunky necklace from Zara, it's covered with little diamontes that blends in with the colour to not make it too in-your-face.. Perfect for my style! I took this little snap while I was out, just to show how subtle it is but completes the look.

August Nights

I love going on nights out with my friends, whether I'm glamming myself up for a club, or toning it down for dinners and bars. And since Summer is my favourite season of the year, I'm making the most of the weather and all of my summer wardrobe!!
So on a night out in London catching up with a friend, I went for the jeans. White cropped jeans.. One of my faves, but always having to be careful not to spill anything down them all night!! But they do look great to wear anywhere and with anything. I bought this top a while ago, and the coral is such a gorgeous colour, that it's a definite summer staple piece for my wardrobe to last me a few summers! I love the added touch of the nude colour lace in the middle against the silk.

LAS VEGAS!!

I have recently been on a little break away to Vegas, and what an amazing, fun and glamorous place it is! I am fully hooked, and want to be back there right away! What I loved about the nightlife here, compared to Ibiza etc, is the dressing up. Everyone looks so glam and put effort into what they wear. It is very relaxed during the day (which I also love), but I always have fun getting ready for my nights out!
So here's a peek at one of my fave dresses I wore.
I especially love this picture from my trip, because Vegas lit up at night looks so breath-taking! This picture is also showing the back of the dress- which is my favourite part! I love a backless. Whether it's a dress, top or playsuit, I adore them!

Here is just a mirror shot at the hotel, although I love short dresses from time to time if your covering the boobs and showing the legs, but I do like my midi dresses too, it adds class to your look.

Lastly, the front. I loved the necklace idea on this, the gold around my neck really added an edge!

Summer Lovin'... in DKNY

I mentioned on my Twitter, that a certain DKNY dress has been staring at me for a while now and have been dying to try it on!! This beautiful to-the-floor dress with a stunning V shape on the back is the perfect dress for your Summer holidays. I can imagine being in your holiday resort, sunset.. and on your way to a romantic dinner. Dreamy!!
The coral colour is stunning for Summer, I've seen a lot of this colour around now! So refreshing to see now, after all those Winter darks in your wardrobe. What I also love about this dress is it has clear and very thin straps to almost look invisible to create a loose, floating effect. The material is very light for a dress like this aswell, and it's supposed to hang loosely to get this certain open-back effect shown in the picture below.

Dressed in White

Happy Easter everyone!! I hope you are all enjoying your holidays!
It's been lovely spending it with family and friends. My favourite thing to do!
I had a fun night out on Saturday, and the great thing about not having to work, is being able to take your time getting ready... Bliss!!
I've decided to get myself fully into the Spring/Summer spirit and go all white. Brave move since I haven't had a holiday yet to get a tan. But then Xen Tan came to the rescue. I'm very fussy with fake tanning because some of the products really make you smell like your wearing fake tan! But I love this one, it smells like lotion and gives you a lovely natural-looking tan. It always makes you feel better when you have that glow!
I've had some lovely comments about this outfit, and being asked where I got this "dress" from. When it's actually a crop top and skirt I put together. The skirt that I got from Miss Selfridge is actually an off-white colour, whereas my crop top is crisp white, so I thought I'd create the two-tone look. It's best to keep the top plain with this skirt, because where the skirt has lace panelling down the middle, it makes it quite hard to vamp up this look in any other way. But I am looking forward to wearing some bright colour tops/blouses to go with this skirt when the Summer is properly here!!
